My name is Jeffrey Sigmon and I was born and raised just outside of New Orleans, LA. I work at a growing Fixed Based Operator (FBO) at New Orleans International Airport. I graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in General Business in December 2007. I am a Private pilot with an Instrument rating and have recently met the requirements for my Commercial Multi-Engine license. I’m currently working on becoming proficient enough for my check ride that is hopefully just around the corner. My long term goal is to fly for FedEx, however Southwest is a favorite of mine!

By working at different airports in my area as a Line Technician and Line Manager, I have been able to network with hundreds, if not thousands of aviation professionals. I have met individuals who fly everything from C150’s to Boeing 747’s to the CEO of FedEx who I actually had a decent conversation with. I’ve learned a few secrets, met a few people and I’m hoping it turns into a job when the time comes.

Aside from the flying part of my life, I enjoy the outdoors. I go fishing, ride ATV’s and I spend a lot of time with my girlfriend Katie who I adore greatly.

I’ve been enjoying the internet since 1991 and have been building web pages since 1998. If I’m not blogging or working on any of my websites one could find me on an aviation or watch enthusiast forum. Well, that’s enough about me… go do something productive. :)
